I've read that this is Dicken's most auto-biographical novel. It's long and detailed, but so enjoyable. Copperfield has all the foibles I seem to have--though he's much nicer--and he carries his heart on his sleeve. 

The most despicable and cool character is Mr. Uriah Heep...god, I just love to hate that dude. Anyway...
